JD brings a wealth of experience in hospitality and a natural talent for making guests feel at home. With a genuine passion for creating unforgettable moments, he goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay with us is nothing short of extraordinary.

Aileen has always been drawn to the beauty of nature and the thrill of exploring new destinations. Her keen eye for detail ensures that every aspect of your stay is thoughtfully curated to exceed your expectations.

Godfrey

Meet Godfrey, our dedicated camp leader who is always there to support you. He ensures that the camp is in perfect order and operates smoothly. Godfrey is happily married and has three wonderful children who reside in nearby Kimana.


Alex

Alex, our camp co-leader, comes from the local Maasai community. His passion for cooking shines through in the delicious meals he prepares for our guests. With his calm, cool, and wise demeanor, Alex's charming personality is sure to leave an impression. Down-to-earth and genuine, meeting Alex is always a pleasure

 

Kilonzo

Kilonzo is our indispensable handyman at the camp. Whether it's replacing a bulb, removing a bees' nest, cutting firewood, or repairing a roof, Kilonzo is the go-to person we rely on. The camp simply wouldn't function without him. Additionally, he is a skilled pizza maker, earning him a spot among our talented pizza chefs.

Kilonzo has a wonderful wife and a three-year-old daughter whom he supports through his work here.

 

George

George is one of our camp stewards, as well as a handyman with a background in construction and a wonderful gardener. He ensures the camp grounds are always impeccably maintained. 

George has a young family with his wonderful wife, and children 12, 5 and 1 yrs. 

Felix

Felix is one of our attentive camp staff, always eager to lend a hand. His warm, welcoming smile and easygoing personality make him a delight to be around. Felix is also one of our master pizza makers, ensuring your stay is both enjoyable and delicious. 

Felix hails from kakamega county but his wife and 2 year child live here in nearby Kimana. 


David

David is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. He is always ready to offer a helping hand. With a wide range of skills, David can perfectly make up your tent, share his extensive knowledge of the local wildlife, and even keep you safe at night as an askari. Additionally, he is one of the skilled pizza makers at Bush Camp. Meeting David is always a pleasure.


Dickson

Dickson serves as the head Askari and is our vital link to the local community. He sits on the board of the local school that we support and plays a key role in assisting us with community outreach efforts. Additionally, Dickson leads our guests on bush walks, offering his extensive knowledge of the area's wildlife and the traditional uses of indigenous flora.

Hailing from a nearby village, Dickson is a family man with a lovely wife and six children, including newborn twins.

 

 

Samuel

Samuel is one of our dedicated Askaris, always eager to assist in any way he can. With his down-to-earth personality, he has become a cherished friend. Samuel also serves as one of our bush walk guides, ready to take you on an adventure through the bush in search of wildlife, while offering insights from a Maasai perspective. Having grown up herding in this area, Samuel knows it inside and out.

Samual has a wonderful young family with three children including a precious new born girl.
